Adictivo Double Reposado Tequila Review

Does this tequila aged in French oak can make you say Oui ou non?

Adictivo Reposado. Adictivo Reposado made at 1477 in the valley. This is aged eight months in French Oak, so it's got a little more barrel character than a reposado typically would. Pretty popular. This one is $60 something like that.

Let's see what we think. All right. Using our new glassware. Yes. The new Tequila Jay Baer tasting glasses and coasters. Yep. Available tequilajaybaer.com. It smells kind of sweet. Oh, okay. But not candy sweet. This has got like a bourbon whiskey. It's definitely in the scotch whiskey kind of lane for sure, but definitely has, especially at the end, a lot of residual sweetness.

But it's not, oh, this reminds me of a little bit like the candied orange slices. Yeah. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. Yeah. I can see why a lot of people like this tequila. Yeah. It's easy to drink. It's sweet. It is tasty. It's not my style. For me, I would make a cocktail out of this. Especially like a sweeter mixer, probably the Q Hibiscus Ginger Beer, which is sweet by itself, these two together would be amazing.

Yeah. What do you think? it's almost too sweet for me, which is weird to say. Look out. Because I. Like your candy. I like my candy. I like it. It's not my favorite, but it's not horrible. I'm going to give this one a five, not my favorite. Five for me. Okay. And I'm going to give a six. Adictivo Doble Reposado, a five and a six.
